By a stroke of luck, Penny’s entire detective gang — along with dogs Mailie and Dschastin — ends up spending summer vacation together in the Italian seaside town of Fiorente. And it’s a good thing they do.

Strange things are happening at the luxury hotel where Flora’s family is staying: expensive towels and bathrobes embroidered with the Luxurioso logo keep disappearing. Is the tip-hungry waiter behind it? Or the front-desk clerk with the towering hairstyle? Or Penny’s neighbor from Germany, who’s working at the hotel as a temporary housekeeper?

With their two sniffer dogs — and help from the twin boys at the campground — Penny and her friends lie in wait to catch the culprit…
