Penny Pepper is ten years old and has three big wishes (and about a million small ones):
1. To have a dog
2. To become a detective and solve crimes
3. Not to have to go to the birthday party of the show-off diva Flora
Wish number three doesn’t come true. But Penny never would have guessed that she’d be pulled into her very first big case at Flora’s party of all places. Suddenly, the birthday present Dschastin — the cutest dog in the world — disappears, and all that’s left in the dog basket is a ransom note.
And who does Flora accuse of kidnapping the dog?
